Two settings, connected goals

SCALE’s charter includes both community-based public health programmes and technical support for healthcare facilities. These areas connect through education, prevention, implementation and evidence.

Understand the setting

Community priorities may involve health promotion, WASH and AMR awareness. Facility priorities may involve clinical IPC programmes, environmental safety, HAI surveillance and quality improvement. Programme scope is developed around the needs of the setting.

Work across disciplines

Public health, nursing, clinical IPC, WASH, research and data expertise can contribute to a shared programme. Defined responsibilities, work plans and monitoring support coordinated implementation.
